Shetal Mehta
Co-Founder, Suchi Semicon
Shetal Mehta is a second-generation entrepreneur who joined the family business, Suchi Industries
established in 2004, specialising in manufacturing and marketing textile fabrics, in 2016 after completing
a master’s degree from Warwick Business School. At the time, he was one of the youngest graduates in the

Over eight years, Shetal has led the launch of three new verticals in the textiles sector and diversified
into semiconductor manufacturing. This shift has positioned Suchi Semicon as one of India’s first startups

Semicon has already taken steps to establish manufacturing operations. Shetal has traveled internationally
over the past two years to build partnerships and acquire technology to position Suchi Semicon as a
competitive semiconductor manufacturer. His mission is to contribute to India’s semiconductor sector and
create chips with a strong Indian base
