Pradeep Kumar

As VP of Strategy for Broadridge India, Pradeep is responsible for driving key strategies for the transformation journey of Broadridge India. His previous stint was with PayPal where he led Innovation, Open Innovation, Ecosystem and outreach and several initiatives across the value chain instrumental to the growth and transformation of tech centers across Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. He has built, launched and scaled products, scouted startups for potential investments and acquisitions, and has done channel partnerships and business development leading to millions of dollars in recurring revenue. Prior to PayPal, he was a startup founder selling Indian vernacular language books digitally. Before that he was part of a $12.5M USD conglomerate incubator fund in Philippines. Pradeep holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology and an MBA from Asian Institute of Management. He is also a Chevening CRISP (Chevening Research, Science and Innovation Leadership) Fellow at St. Cross College, University of Oxford. He is a best-selling author of non-fiction books in Tamil. He is passionate about teaching and has delivered training programs to corporations and campuses covering more than 10,000 students. He is a patent holder and a regular speaker at various industry, startup and university events.
